International Master Course Flute in Bydgoszcz

On April 19–21, 2016, the international flute master classes, held by Mr Berten D’Hollander from Belgium, were organised in Bydgoszcz. During those few days, the maestro passed his knowledge to recorder students from Państwowy Zespół Szkół Muzycznych im. Artura Rubinsteina (Artur Rubinstein Memorial Music School Complex).

Exhibition "Time Witnesses - Post-1945 photography in Austria"

On February 4, 2016, 5:00 p.m., the exhibition "Time Witnesses - Post-1945 photography in Austria" was opened in the Museum of Photography in Bydgoszcz. The exhibition together with accompanying educational programme will be presented to February 27, 2016.

Public Music Schools Complex in Bydgoszcz

The 90th anniversary gala was a perfect opportunity to thank teachers for years of their heavy work. The school headmistress, Ewa Stąporek-Pospiech, presented the teachers and other school employees with decorations, while herself received the 1st class award from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

Competition for Young Pianists - photo relation

On 15th of November 2014 there was a concert of this year laureates of the International Competition for Young Pianists: Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam which had been won by Szymon Nehring. Nineteen years old Pole not only received the most prestigious award of that evening but also Chopin Award and the Special award in the name of Aniela Młynarska-Rubinstein founded by Rubinstein family.

KMW supports young musicians

For the tenth time the most talented young pianists from all around the world will come to Bydgoszcz in order to take part in the international Arthur Rubinstein In Memoriam competition. This competition, which is both celebrating its X anniversary and has settled into the cultural calendar of the region, is, not for the first time, supported by our company.
